Born from True Backcountry Experience

The modern travel internet is saturated with recycled listicles and sponsored commercial tour stops. Haast was founded in Dunedin by alpine enthusiasts and overland chroniclers to bring verified, candid intelligence back to travelers.

New Zealand is deceivingly compact on world maps, yet its topography demands rigorous road awareness. Weather windows change instantly, one-lane bridges cross raging glacial rivers, and remote DOC huts require genuine wilderness preparedness.
